This website processes personal data only as far as necessary for operation, security and handling of enquiries.

Server log data

When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary access data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, user agent and status code. Processing serves the secure provision of the website, error analysis and abuse prevention on the basis of legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact form and email contact

When the contact form is submitted or contact is made by email, the name, email address, topic, message text, confirmation of the privacy notice, time of sending and technically necessary anti-spam fields are transmitted and processed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up correspondence. The contents are not stored in a database of this website; delivery takes place as email via the SMTP2GO infrastructure (Sand Dune Mail Limited, Christchurch, New Zealand) as processor under Art. 28 GDPR. SMTP2GO may use sub-processors in the EU, the USA and other countries; depending on the recipient, adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards are used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other business enquiries.

Spam and abuse protection

To limit spam and abuse, the contact endpoint processes the IP address briefly in memory. At most three successful submissions and twelve attempts within 15 minutes are allowed. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in a secure and functional contact form under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The rate-limit data is removed automatically once the time window expires.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no web analytics. The chosen language and appearance are stored locally in the browser only.

Data subject rights

Data subjects have rights under the GDPR to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority. Requests can be made by email to the contact address above.
